I posted sometime ago about rock n roll getting more main stream well it seems true (I should listen to my ears and gut instinct more).

Me husband is a custard packer, he’s a very busy man
I try to understand him and I help him all I can,

But sometimes in an evening I feel a trifle dim
All alone, I’m walking custards, when I’d rather walk with him.

I’m not a custard walker, I’m a custard walker’s mate
I’m only walking custards ‘cos the custard walker’s late !

I’m not good at walking custards, at custard walking I tend to fart
Though some custard’s find it sticky I’d rather walk a tart.
Oh walking gateau is gorgeous, I can walk easter eggs
But custard walking torture because they haven’t any legs.

I’m not a custard walker, he’s playing Tennis with hiw new rackets,
He only walked one custard and I’m sitting here with packets!

You have to walk them fresh, if it’s fresh they’re very tasty,
I knew a man in Dunstable who walked a frozen pastry.
They say the village constable had custard walking sessions
With the vicar on a Sunday ‘tween the first and second lessons.

I’m not a custard walker, I’m a custard walker’s son

My good friend Godfrey is most adept, he’s really got the knack
He likes to have a custard walk before he hits the sack.
I like to give a helping hand, I gather up the powder,
It’s really all our custard walking keeps us singing loader.

I’m only walking custards as a means unto an end!

My husband’s in the kitchen always beating the egg yolks
If he could hear me half the time I’m sure he’d laugh with other folks,
For there’s sugar in all my crannies, there’s vanilla up my nose
And I’m itching in the kitchen from my head down to my toes.

And when we walk together it’s a custard walking life!

My current fav track is by The BPA – ‘Toe Jam’. The BPA (BRIGHTON PORT AUTHORITY) on SouthernFriedRecords.

Though Southern Fried Records was sert up by Fat Boy Slim / Norman Cook, I’m sure his involvement is greater on this track as it does have “his sound”.

They’ve also done a track with Iggy Pop, check out Brighton Port Authority – ‘He’s Frank’... I’m sure there’s a house Martins sample in there!

Its a sad, sad day Bo Diddley died today at the age of 79. I’d be as brave to say if it wasnt for Bo music today wouldnt sound the same.

He created the “Bo Diddley Beat” which can be heard in tunes as far an vaired as Buddy Holly, Elvis, The Rolling Stones, U2 and the 60’s hit by the Strangeloves “I Want Candy.”

As Bo puts it so well:

“ I play the guitar as if I were playing drums.”

Lets hope he’s join forces with all the great muscians up in the sky making even greater music.

Dreamweaver CS3 crashes and wont run! · Mon Apr 7, 11:05 AM— Paul Cripps

Just doin some CSS (it’s been a while!) in-fact it’s the first bit of CSS for me at Nine Four… THEN all of a sudden Dreamweaver crashed.

I tried opening it again, and noy joy. Knowing how flaky Flash and Dreamweaver can be once they crash I touhght I’ll cut to the chase and re-install.

Guess what, it still didnt work.

Next up google it and I found this article by Mike Padgett. In a nut shell if there is a given file in your given sties directory thats 8k Dreamweaver crashed. Change the file, resave it thus making the file size change and Dreamweaver will run fine!

Yup, its going to hit again this year. I’ve been thisking this for a good year or so, but going on the number of records and compliations that have cropped up in th last year I recon it’ll hit main stream later this year, 2008.

The house move has prompted me to sell more items on eBay, so here they are:

Rane Serato, “scratch live” the SSL second edition

. It’s used 6 months old in very good condition. This software is amazing, it allows you to mix & scratch MP3 files via you laptop / computer using vinyl!
